About
Katie (She/Her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of professional experience practicing mental health therapy in the state of Georgia. She graduated from Mercer University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2013.
“Hi, I’m Katie Toso — a licensed professional counselor, clinical supervisor, and the founder of Harvest Counseling. I believe in creating space for people to reconnect with themselves, heal deeply, and grow into who they truly are — not just who they’ve had to be.
With a background in holistic and trauma-informed care, I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, and I integrate nature-based and mindfulness approaches to support healing on every level — mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mother, homeschooler, and a follower of earth-based spiritual practices. I find meaning in aligning with the natural rhythms of life and believe healing often begins when we slow down, reconnect, and live more intentionally. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and always centered around what works best for you.
At Harvest Counseling, we’re not here to fix you — we’re here to help you come home to yourself.”
She lives in Henry County with her husband of over10 years, 4 year old daughter, and two dogs. She enjoys reading, genealogy research, Yoga with Adriene, and hiking Panola Mountain with her family.
