Katie (She/Her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of professional experience practicing mental health therapy in the state of Georgia. She graduated from Mercer University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2013. She works with people from the age of 5 and up. She has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Functional Family Therapy. She specializes in stress/anxiety and grief but has experience working with other concerns such as Women’s Concerns, Relationship Problems, Attachment Concerns, Postpartum Adjustment, Bipolar, Depression, and more. She also offers clinical supervision towards licensure.
Prior to clinical practice she worked in a group home with children in crisis, in outpatient community mental health service, with families involved with DFCS and DJJ, and in an inpatient crisis hospital. Her clinical background has provided her with a lot of community resources to help people in Henry, Clayton, Rockdale and Fayette counties.
She lives in Henry County with her husband of 8 years, 3 year old daughter, and two dogs. She enjoys reading, genealogy research, Yoga with Adriene, and hiking Panola Mountain with her family.
Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Thursday
